Each holiday cottage has two bedrooms - one, a room with a double bed and a room with twin beds; the other has double beds in each bedroom. Both properties feature spacious and fully fitted kitchen-dinettes, bathrooms with bath and walk-in shower and utility rooms. Comfortable living rooms are finished with period open fireplaces ideal for burning logs available from the farm. Residents have the option of either oil- or solid-fuel central heating. Floors are tiled throughout with attractive traditional designs. Located in the private grounds of Brookhall, the accommodation offers pleasing views of the gardens. Private car parking is provided. The original Gate Lodge has been extended to comprise two semi-detached residences or holiday cottages, finished to the highest modern standards, while retaining a traditional period character. The units are offered for short- or longer-term bookings. The Holiday Cottages are within three miles of the local pub and only four miles from Lisburn City - and leisure centre, swimming, golf, horse-riding and cinema facilities. Brookhall is 12 miles from both the International Airport and Belfast, and 3 miles from the main M2 motorway to the west of Ireland. The A1 south to Newry and Dublin is also nearby. Residents may also enjoy visiting the picturesque lake-side Georgian village of Hillsborough and the local market village of Moira - frequent winner of "Ulster in Bloom" competitions.
