A large rambling two-storey late Georgian mansion dating back from 1797 and incorporating an earlier house of 1760, formerly the home of the Governor of Northern Ireland.  The mansion is now the official residence of the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.  Other special guests have included HM The Queen, HRH The Prince of Wales and many other distinguished world leaders.  Within the grounds is Europe’s largest Rhododendron, the historical herbaceous Granville Garden and the estate boasts enchanting garden walks.
