Since the 17th Century Down Royal Racecourse has brought the ‘Sport of Kings’ to generations of people in Ulster. Over the years the racecourse has been awash with a sea of coloured silks – many worn by champion jockeys. Legendary horses have captivated the crowds and others less known have beaten all odds to enter into the history books and the hearts of spectators. Down Royal provides a vibrant, modern and fun–filled atmosphere for serious pundits, families, social butterflies or Corporate Guests.

Down Royal has recently undertaken a major re–development project transforming the site into an ideal destination for Corporate Events, conferences, exhibitions and weddings as well as a racing venue. This development includes a new entrance giving your guests a better first impression, refurbishment of the existing building and a new Corporate Pavilion including a suite for 500 people, another for 200 and 10 new Corporate Boxes which are ideal for Break–out rooms on non–racedays.
