Exquisite ice cream? Delicious pasta? Fine wine? Or Italy’s ability to produce some of the most desirable cars in the world?
As members of the Northern Ireland Italian Motor Club, you can guess what our choice is! The club was established in 2003 and from humble beginnings, it has grown to more than 70 enthusiastic members.
We have organised an annual gathering for the past six years and this year we will be running our ‘All Ireland Italian Motor Event’ at Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn, on Saturday 26 May.

We can promise a display of stunning Italian vehicles, both of the four wheeled and two wheeled variety. We hope that cars from manufacturers such as Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Fiat and Abarth will all be represented, some new, some older and possibly some very rare examples which are sure to attract interest.

We also hope to see a collection of Italian motorbikes – Ducatis, Moto Guzzis and Aprilias.

Down.

The Hillsborough International Oyster Festival attracts crowds of approximately 14,000 people, with visitors from across the world. It is host to the World Oyster Eating Championships, with other entertainment and competitions throughout the village. Fine locally produced food and drink is available in the Festival Marquee and with Ulster’s unique hospitality you will have a truly remarkable festival experience.  

As always, the main purpose of the festival – apart from providing great fun, quality local food and a variety of entertainment to suit all ages, is to raise money for a nominated local charity. This year’s charity is still to be confirmed.

This event will take place in Hillsborough Village.
