Recognised as one of Northern Ireland's premier events set in the historic, picturesque Georgian village of Hillsborough. Enjoy the World Oyster Eating Championships as well as a family fun day, live entertainment and competitions throughout the village during the festival.
As always, the main purpose of the festival - apart from providing great fun, quality local food and a variety of entertainment to suit all ages, is to raise money for a nominated local charity

Event information
BBC Proms in the Park returns to the grounds of Hillsborough Castle for a spectacular open air concert that brings together local and international artists for BBC Northern Ireland's biggest outside broadcast of the year. The event at Hillsborough Castle will feature the Opera Singer Russell Watson, local star Duke Special, violinist Alexandra Soumm, flautist Brian Finegan and dancers Irish Beats and accompanied by the Ulster Orchestra in a programme of popular classics.
This event is supported by Lisburn City Council.
Tickets to BBC Northern Ireland's Proms in the Park event are complimentary and will be allocated on the basis of a random draw.
You can apply for tickets at any time until 4pm on Wednesday 2 June 2010. No applications will be accepted after this closing date and time.
A maximum of four tickets will be allocated per household address.
Duplicate applications will not be considered.
Please note under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Park and Ride service will be in operation.

Music Quest, ISLAND Arts Centre’s search for the best in unsigned alternative/rock music, has gained the reputation of producing live finals of quality and excitement and this year’s event is no exception.
This year’s shortlisted bands - Nanook, Rams’ Pocket Radio, Seven Summits and Silhouette will battle it out in front of a live audience and a judging panel of music, media and entertainment industry professionals, with the winning act collecting a fantastic cash prize of £1000!
