Summary
Recreate the summer steam train excursion of yester–year with our steam train around Belfast Lough. This summer excursion will offer passengers pick–ups from Whitehead Excursion station, Carrickfergus, Belfast Central and Lisburn en route to Bangor for the afternoon. For the historically minded, the steam train will offer a unique chance to travel south from Whitehead on the former London Midland and Scottish Railway(NCC) line to Belfast, traverse the former Great Northern Railway (I) railway line to Lisburn, before coming back through Belfast and onto the former Belfast and County Down Railway line to Bangor.
